How much does a custom engagement ring cost in St. George?
Around town, you'll find that a 2 carat oval lab-grown diamond solitaire starts at $2,400, with some stores over $4,500. But we don't have to pay for a storefront, so with us the prices start closer to $1,700. Just let us know when to start!
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. They are the same material, carbon crystallised in a diamond lattice so it has the same hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond, and graded by the same labs on the same scale. The only difference is where they formed: in a machine over a few weeks instead of underground over a billion years.
How long does a custom ring take?
Forty-eight hours for the drawing and the exact price, then about 12 days to make. Sizing and stone setting happen at the bench in St. George afterwards.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes, that is something we can arrange, ask on the form and we will set it out.
What if the ring does not fit when I give it to her?
Sizing is included in the price and it is done at the bench in St. George. It is a quick job, and it is the main practical reason to buy from a jeweller rather than a warehouse.
Is the drawing really free?
Yes. You get a CAD drawing and an exact price before you pay anything or commit to anything.
Do I have to come in?
No, the whole thing works over the site. But you are welcome to, and it is usually quicker and more fun.
